Security, Data and GDPR

How MPG Site Management organizes hosting, privacy roles, access control, geolocation, exports and retention.

1. Purpose of this page

This page explains the security and data-management principles used by MPG Site Management. It is not a substitute for the contract, data processing agreement or internal worker notices required by the customer company.

2. Hosting and infrastructure

Production environments may be configured on shared, VPS or dedicated infrastructure depending on the selected plan. Dedicated environments, domains, backup rules and custom limits can be defined for enterprise projects.

3. Privacy roles

For website contact and demo data, MPG is usually the controller. For operational data entered by a customer company, the customer is generally the controller and MPG acts as technical processor.

4. Data categories

  • company, user, role and account data;
  • construction sites, crews, work codes, BOQs and daily reports;
  • cables, drums, materials, progress and exported reports;
  • attendance, clock-in and geolocation data where enabled;
  • technical logs needed for security and maintenance.

5. Access control

The platform is designed around authenticated users, role-based permissions, reserved areas and separation between customer environments.

6. Geolocation

GPS functions, when active, are intended to support site presence checks and operational association between workers, activities and sites. The customer company must configure these functions lawfully and provide the required notices to workers.

7. Backups and logs

Backup frequency, retention and log management depend on the configured environment and service agreement. Technical logs are used for diagnosis, security and abuse prevention.

8. Exports and uploaded files

Uploaded BOQs, PDFs and technical documents are used to configure demos or provide the service. Report exports are made available to authorized users according to their permissions.

9. Customer duties

The customer remains responsible for the accuracy of inserted data, lawful employee monitoring, internal authorization rules and the correct configuration of roles and workflows.

10. Requests

Questions about security, privacy or a dedicated configuration can be sent to [email protected].
